That Vegan Teacher: What’s Her Deal?

That Vegan Teacher is an animal rights activist on TikTok who, along with her ukelele and her dog Bella, shows how important it is to be vegan, but who is this teacher? Well, you’re about to find out.

Who Is She?:

Kadie Karen Diekmeyer, yes, her middle name is Karen, is a 56-year-old Candian elementary school teacher who’s also an animal rights activist. Kadie has been vegan for about two years.  At this moment Kadie has two pets, her dog Bella and her new pet mouse Covid.

Being Vegan:

That Vegan Teacher has quite an unusual way of showing her protests to animal rights.  Most of the time she sings original songs on her ukulele about being vegan.  She sings these songs at her house but sometimes she takes a trip to McDonald’s to speak her mind there.  Another way she tried to get her point across is by making small skits.  That Vegan Teacher decorates all her t-shirts and pillows with little vegan slogans which are all created with puffy paint and cheap printers.

Even though she is an elementary school teacher, she doesn’t seem like it.  In most TikToks, she uses foul language to get her point across to her viewers, who are probably young.  This woman is not a good learning source and everyone is tired of her, including some Tiktokers.

Duets:

That Vegan Teacher has been duetting a lot of YouTubers and celebrities on random TikToks they are posting, telling them to become vegan.  Some of the most popular ones are with TommyInnit, Billie Eilish, and Gordon Ramsay.

Animals: 

That Vegan Teacher has two pets that we know of.  She has a dog called Bella and a mouse called Covid.  

Two years ago when That Vegan Teacher became vegan, she took her dog along with her.  Now Bella has been vegan for two years and viewers don’t like it.  It’s true that a dog can survive and healthily live as a vegan, but it’s probably not enjoyable for them, as dogs were made to eat meat.  Bella seems happy and healthy, but is that the truth?

Recent News: 

One of the most recent things that has happened involving That Vegan Teacher is that she got banned from TikTok.  That’s right, That Vegan Teacher got her account suspended.  Everyone was happy that That Vegan Teacher was gone but then a week later it all changed.  That Vegan Teacher has a new account called miss.kadie.vegan.school.  It has already gotten 40k followers in only a couple of days of it being created.  It’s still there but it’s probably only a matter of time before it gets banned.

Is That Vegan Teacher’s Message Good?:

Is it good what That Vegan Teacher’s doing?  If you are vegan, vegetarian, or pescatarian and want to speak about the things you believe in, go ahead.   But swearing and threatening people because they’re not vegan is not ok.  It is good that people like That Vegan Teacher are talking about the bad things that happen to animals in the progress of producing meat for us to eat, but over exaggerating it and comparing it to the holocaust and abuse is wrong. 

I think it’s a shame that That Vegan Teacher’s TikTok are putting a bad look on the vegan, vegetarian, and pescatarian community.  Most of them aren’t like That Vegan Teacher.  It’s only the weird and negative people that get all the fame on TikTok.
